On July 2, 2020, with the support of ICCPI, the European House- Ambrosetti and Associazione Italia ASEAN held its annual High-Level Dialogue in ASEAN Italy Economic Relations digitally. Originally scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur, the event had to be moved online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first webinar of the 4 high-level digital Round Tables involved prominent speakers, such as Lim Jock Hoi (ASEAN Secretary General), Manlio Di Stefano (Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Italian Government), Ramesh Subramaniam (Director General for South East Asia, Asian Development Bank) Enrico Letta (President, Associazione Italia-ASEAN, Italy; Dean, Paris School of International Affairs, Sciences Po; former Prime Minister, Italy) among many others.

The speakers and panelists engaged in interesting discussions on regional integration, collaborative policies for trade and investments, Italy as future development partner for ASEAN countries and other opportunities for mutual growth and collaboration between Italy and ASEAN. Inevitably, the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on industries was thoroughly analyzed during the entire session.
ICCPI punctually supports this initiative by the European House- Ambrosetti every year, by providing speakers and inviting participants to this prestigious meeting of global and industry leaders.
