In a remarkable collaboration aimed at redefining the future of sustainability in businesses, CRIF Philippines, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (ICCPI), and the Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance, Inc (PE2) joined forces to host a luncheon discussion on "Sustainable Business Growth through Data-Driven Approaches." The event took place last September 28, 2023, at Wolfgang's Steakhouse Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig, Philippines.
Centered around the pivotal themes of Profit, People, and Planet, the gathering delved into the ever-increasing significance of harnessing data to propel sustainable business practices forward. The luncheon drew a diverse assembly of prominent business leaders, industry experts, and sustainability advocates. Among the attendees, primarily composed of ICCPI and PE2 members, there was a shared curiosity to explore the intersection of data-driven decision-making and the ethos of sustainability. Conversations resonated with the profound impact of data in steering businesses toward conscious, sustainable choices.
Cris Matunan, EVP – General Manager of CRIF Philippines, underscored the importance of data, remarking, "At CRIF Philippines, we believe that data holds the key to achieving a harmonious balance between profitability, social responsibility, and environmental preservation. The event was a testament to the commitment of all stakeholders to foster an environment where profit, people, and the planet coexist harmoniously."
Lorenz Ziller, Executive Director of ICCPI, expressed pride in being part of this collaborative endeavor, affirming, "The Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines is proud to be part of this collaborative effort that addresses the triple bottom line. We believe that sustainable business practices are ethical and key to long-term success."
Alexander Ablaza, President of PE2, emphasized the organization's dedication to sustainability, stating, "The Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance is committed to promoting energy-efficient practices. Events like these provide a platform for knowledge exchange and inspire businesses to adopt eco-friendly solutions, contributing to a more sustainable world."
The event serves as a testament to the commitment of CRIF Philippines, ICCPI, and PE2 to champion sustainable business practices, encourage innovation, and foster a brighter, greener future for all.
