ICCPI Leadership Awards 2022

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (ICCPI) launches the 2nd edition of the long awaited ICCPI Leadership Awards that will be held on November 18 2022 in Dusit Thani Manila. These awards recognize exceptional Filipino and Italian business leaders, entrepreneurs, and organizations who continue to promote outstanding practices and global excellence in their respective fields. The ICCPI Leadership Awards 2022 sets the tagline “Inspiring and Empowering others” allowing attendees to not only celebrate excellence in leadership but also encourage young and upcoming academics, thinkers, entrepreneurs and managers.




Fielded are thirty (30) nominees for 10 different awards categories including, (1) Woman in Business of the Year, (2) Exceptional Entrepreneur Award, (3) “ItalPinoy” of the Year, (4) Restaurateur of the Year, (5) Emerging Entrepreneur, (6) Sustainability Business/ Entrepreneur, (7) Innovation Champion, (8) Young Business Leader, (9) Outstanding Leadership, and (10) Italian Executive of the Year.


The Woman in Business of the Year Nominees include Jannette Jakosalem- Market Managing Director at Zuellig Pharma, Dr. Leah Yolo- President of Kaiser International Health Group and Rosemarie Rafael representing the Women's Business Council of the Philippines.


The nominees for the Exceptional Entrepreneur Award include Stefano Fazzini- CEO of Metromart, Will Decena- President of Will Decena and Associates, Inc. and Raymund Magdaluyo- President of Red Crab Group of Restaurants.


The "ItalPinoy" of the Year nominees include Florence Ko- President of Furnitalia, Guiseppe Garofalo- COO of ItalPinas and Anna Maria Luisa Garcia- CEO of Bottega di Anna Maria Luisa.


Restaurateur of the Year nominees include Paolo Nesi of L'Opera Ristorante Italiano, Emiliano Mina of Caruso Ristorante Italiano, and Paolo Durante of the European Diner.



The Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year nominees include Francisco "Paco" Magsaysay- CEO of Carmen's Best Dairy Products and Inc. and Arch. Michele Suria-Founder/CEO.



Nominees for the Sustainability Business/Entrepreneur Award include Sylvester Wong- Vice-President, Lisa Morales- CEO of Philippine GeoGreen, and Arch. Romolo Nati- Chairman/CEO of ItalPinas.


The Innovation Champion nominees are Patrick Lawrence Tan- CEO of GlobalLink-MP and Marjorey Rubio- President of Bexcs Logistics Solutions, Inc.


The Young Business Leader nominees are Tuesday Angliongto- Managing Director of Pocofino, Claudette Canta- GM of Contact Logistics in Airspeed and Zeanne Michele Bello- Managing Partner of Zec Logistics Transport, Co.




The Outstanding Leadership nominees include Devid Guibiani- President of Soriano Projects and Ventures, Inc. Emiliano Romano- Executive Director of Operation Smile and Mary Lou T. Estrada- President of All Transport Network, Inc.


The Italian Executive of the Year nominees include Alessandro Milani- General Manager of the Philippine Italian Association, Paolo Borgiallo Store Manager of Bulgari, and Sandro Bruni Business Development Director of Total Philippines.


The event promises some exciting and thrilling moments of suspense as the panel of judges will carefully choose the winner among the pre-selected nominees. Among the panel of judges there are ICCPI’s President Sergio Boero, Dusit Thani’s Managing Director Stanley Lo, BDO Capital’s President Eduardo Francisco, Proactive Resources CEO Hermod Allertsen and Italian Consul Antonio Gallo.
